To celebrate the 5th year of collaboration with Team Colpack Ballan CSB, the most successful development team in the history of Italian cycling, we have designed a special limited edition of our flagship racing frame, Pressure. Each frame is handpainted to order in Italy following an intensively artisanal process developed internally Cinelli. The raw frame is painted with a white primer which is then sanded back by hand to create a streaked “camouflage” effect.
Team colour decals are then added over the sanded-back frame before being coated in a gloss clearcoat. In this way each frame remains entirely unique (as well as 4% lighter than our production painted frames). The Pressure itself is Cinelli’s flaghship racing frame, interpreting the competitive rider’s need for full integration and aerodynamics through the lens of essential Italian design. The result is a lightweight high-modulus carbon fiber frame with extremely lively and aggressive road handling whose lay-up has been fine-tuned over a two-year period of testing with Team Colpack Ballan CSB.
